Report by the Attorney General on the Ordinance No. 11 of 1897.

Attorney General's Office, Hong Kong 30th June, 1897.

I have examined the accompanying Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance to give effect to the change in the name and style of the office heretofore known as that of the Colonial Surgeons."

I am of opinion that the Ordinance is valid and is not contrary to the Governor's Instructions.

This Ordinance is passed to prevent any difficulties arising from the change of name in the office heretofore known as that of the Colonial Surgeon. This change was directed
